Report: Chiefs trade Knile Davis to Packers
The Packers kicked the tires on C.J. Spiller before he went to Seattle, so they clearly fela need at running back.
They apparently addressed it today.
According to Terez Paylor of the Kansas City Star, the Chiefs have traded running back Knile Davisto the Packers.
He was surplus to needs in Kansas City onceTyreek Hill took over as the return man, since he was no better than their fourth option on offense. But in Green Bay, he has a shot to contribute.
With Eddie Lacy dealing with a problematic ankle injury and James Starks on the shelf after knee surgery, they needed depth.
